GRACE WALKS
Grace
She walks into a room
without a thought of what she might encounter.
Breathing life into those long dead
She sings a song of freedom.
Unfazed by squalor and stench
lies and deceit
she looks beyond the shell
into humanity
Driven by love.
Grace whispers gently,
“I am enough
You’ll see”.
She holds the key
For those who return
Repentant. Humbled. Stained.
She washes clean.
Bright and light.
Till what was
becomes
unrecognisable.
Grace
Please know how lovely you are.
Yet do not mess with Grace!
She does not suffer fools.
Cast her off.
Use and abuse.
No matter.
She refuses to bend
to our resistance.
Until we turn.
Then, and only then,
can we journey further.
With Grace.
Grace.
In her.
Power.
All we need to sojourn through
a life of faith, hope, love.
To laugh
To hope
To endure
To forgive
Jesus.
We thank you.
Where would we be without your grace?
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12
